The program is designed to welcome both recent high school graduates and students who wish to complete high school while in Italy. For those who want to finish high school in Italy, we have several partner institutions that allow students to complete their studies online and obtain a U.S.-recognized diploma. For students who have already graduated, it is possible to choose from a wide range of university courses, all officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and therefore transferable to universities worldwide, including the United States.

Our Gap Year Program offers a genuine cultural, athletic, and academic experience designed to enrich both the personal and professional journey of student-athletes. In addition to strengthening their CV, it provides a valuable opportunity to gain clarity about the next steps after the gap year.
What courses are available in the Gap Year program?
The program offers several university-level courses across a variety of fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Communication, History, International Studies, Italian, Law, Management, and Sports Management.
Are the courses internationally recognized?
Yes! All courses are accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, and the credits earned are fully transferable to universities worldwide, including in the United States.
What language are the courses taught in?
All courses are taught in English, making the program accessible to international students.
Where are the classes held?
Courses with focus on Sport Management are offered in Genoa. The other courses are offered in Milan.
How many credits can I earn?
You can earn up to 24 U.S. transferable credits per year.
Where will I live if I take courses in Milan?
All students live at the Genova campus, even if they take classes in Milan.
Will I have support with course selection and academics?
Yes, the program offers academic advisors and tutors on campus to help students select courses and succeed academically.
How are classes in Milan organized for students living in Genova?
Students live at the Genova campus even if they choose to take courses in Milan. The program provides full logistical support to help students attend Milan-based classes when needed.
Do I have to attend all Milan classes in person?
No, attendance in Milan is generally not mandatory. Most students travel to Milan only once per week, as the program is designed to be flexible. Professors and academic tutors based at the Genova campus support students in following the course content and completing assignments, even if they don’t regularly attend Milan classes.
How often will I need to go to Milan for classes?
On average, students travel to Milan once per week for in-person sessions, depending on their chosen courses.
Is there academic support for Milan courses at the Genova campus?
Yes! Professors and tutors at the Genova campus help students stay on track with Milan-based courses. They assist with course materials, assignments, and preparation, ensuring students can successfully complete their program even if they attend fewer in-person sessions.
How long does it take to travel between Genova and Milan?
