Are there limited spots and how does registration work?
There are limited spots available, and YWC’s objective is to create competitive squads capable of facing professional clubs. Registration for the camp is not automatic. Players must apply and submit a highlights tape along with their application. Within 7 days of receiving the application, YWC will send an acceptance invitation if the player is selected. Once all spots are filled, registration will be closed.
What are the age requirements?
The training camp is open to current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Are the 3 competitive games guaranteed ?
Each player will play at least 45 minutes in every game. This is one of the reasons why spots are limited.
Where will the games be played?
The games will be played in Genoa and nearby areas.
Is the airplane ticket included?
No, the airplane ticket is not included in the camp price. Each player is responsible for reaching either Milan MXP Airport or the Genoa campus independently
Room and Board?
Players will be accommodated at the YWC campus in Genoa, with full board provided. All meals are designed for athletes, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring proper nutrition throughout the camp.
Can parents attend the games and friendlies?
Yes, parents are welcome to watch all games and friendlies. However, YWC cannot provide transportation or accommodation services for parents, who must arrange these independently. A transfer from Milan MXP to Genoa (and back) can be offered to parents, but all other logistics are the responsibility of the parents. They are welcome to follow the team, but only on an independent basis.
