Congratulations to Justin Milovanov on his first season as a professional. The defensive midfielder from Brooklyn has played 29 games for the New York Cosmos in 2026: 27 in USL League One and 2 in the USL Cup.
Debut and first goal
Justin made his professional debut on March 14 in the Cosmos home opener at Hinchliffe Stadium, one of five young players making their first pro appearance that night. A week later, on March 21 at Spokane Velocity, he scored his first professional goal in the 48th minute.
A versatile player
He started the season in central midfield and as the year went on head coach Davide Corti also used him as a right back and a left back, a sign of how much the staff trusts him.
From college to the pros
Before the Cosmos, Justin played college soccer at UMass Lowell and Marquette, where he started 28 of his 30 games with 8 goals. In December 2025 he signed his first professional contract with the Cosmos.
Congratulations Justin, a great first year in the pros.
